COURSE LEARNING PLAN

Professional Context Statement

Considering my qualifications, I currently work as a Registered Nurse through nursing agencies so I can have a wide array of experience under my belt. Through these agencies, I've been able to work across various aged care homes and hospitals. Something that stands out about working in the healthcare industry to me on a personal level is the change that one can make in the lives of others. In the future, I aspire to continue being a part of change, by transferring my knowledge in academia and research in the field.

Professional Learning Profile

I have been studying on the tertiary level for the past 5 years, learning both through my experiences and course-specific content. I began my tertiary education at Deakin University studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences, which I completed in 2023. In 2024, I further completed an Honours program in Health & Biomedical Sciences at RMIT University. I followed this up with a Bachelor of Nursing qualification in 2025 from Federation University. As of 2026, I am enrolled in the Masters of Education (Learning and Leadership) at the University of Technology Sydney, looking to advance my qualifications.

Course Learning Goals

I've completed different qualifications and learnings through my journey s a tertiary student, hence my course learning goals for the Master of Education (Learning and leadership) program is to expand and extend the boundaries of my learning:

  • Critically analyse and synthesise contemporary theories and research on learning and educational leadership to inform reflective, evidence-based practice and decision-making in complex, dynamic, and diverse educational contexts.

  • Systematically analyse education policy, governance frameworks, and reform agendas, and evaluate their influence on teaching, learning, and educational leadership across local, national, and global systems.

  • Apply advanced leadership and management strategies to lead educational improvement, organisational change, and professional learning within educational settings.
